Booking conditions

Making any reservation implies the acceptance of these general conditions:

The person making the reservation must be of legal age and is responsible for the accuracy of the entered data.

The system requires a payment or guarantee by credit card or bank transfer of 50% of the total rental amount within 3 days, with the reservation conditioned to the acceptance of the payment by the bank. The agency reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the mentioned payment is not received within 3 days of confirmation.

The remaining amount must be paid 30 days before the arrival date, either by bank transfer or credit card. If the client arrives late on the day of arrival, a few days later, or decides to leave before the departure day, no refund is applicable, and the stay must still be fully paid.

Reservations can be made by phone, email, or directly online on our website. The reservation is completed when the user receives a confirmation email with their booking number. The reservation amount is increased by a tourist tax for the first 7 nights and by an amount of €1.00 per person over 16 years.

All user-entered data is stored on a secure server, and we guarantee that access to this information is exclusive to reservation personnel and will only be used for the reservation itself and to communicate future promotions and offers to the customer.

The client can only accommodate the maximum number of people defined in the accommodation and contracted rate characteristics. If the number of travelers exceeds the allowed maximum, Costabravaway reserves the right to either not admit them to the property or terminate the seasonal rental contract immediately.

The client agrees to respect the rules of coexistence regarding nighttime rest and noise; otherwise, the property reserves the right to terminate the rental contract and the possibility of expulsion from the property. In this case, the agency is not obligated to refund the rental amount paid by the client.

The accommodation will be provided to the client in proper cleaning condition. The client agrees to leave the apartment in a reasonable state of cleanliness without garbage or food residues. Trash must be disposed of, and dishes and pots must be clean and stored or at least in the running dishwasher. Failure to comply may result in a fee of between €50 and €100 plus VAT.

We reserve the right to change the booked accommodation to one of similar or superior characteristics in cases of force majeure such as occupancy or damages occurring after the booking date. These changes will not incur any cost for the client.

Upon arrival, the client will provide a security deposit by credit card for the specified amount in the reservation. This deposit will be fully refunded up to a week after check-out by bank transfer or credit card unless damages to the accommodation, furniture, or equipment, or situations of extreme dirt and waste are detected. The cost of restoring the accommodation to its original condition will be deducted from the deposit amount. If the tenant causes damage to the property, it will be deducted from the deposit, and if the value of the damages exceeds the deposited amount, the tenant must pay the difference promptly upon receiving the total damage amount in writing from the agency. Although the agency checks its accommodations with each guest change, there may be some damage to the property. In this case, you must report it immediately and no later than 24 hours after arrival, and the agency will carry out the necessary repairs within a reasonable period.

The agency is not responsible for any subsequent claims if you have not filed the complaint within the specified period.

If the reservation is made through a booking platform other than, the booking and cancellation conditions of the platform where you booked will apply.

For cancellations, the following fees will be retained:

- 25% if the cancellation is made in writing more than 90 days in advance.
- 50% if the cancellation is made in writing between 90 and 42 days before the arrival of guests.
- 100% if the client cancels in writing from 42 days before arrival. The cancellation is considered made when the agency receives the written cancellation. If the reservation is made through a booking platform other than, the cancellation conditions of that platform will apply.

Cots and high chairs are available free of charge upon request.

In addition to the rental price, the tenant/client must pay the security deposit, tourist tax, and cleaning fee, which will be specified for each property. The arrival time is between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm, unless otherwise agreed with the agency. Key handover will take place at the property. For arrivals after 10:00 pm, a fee of €50 plus VAT will be charged. Regarding the use of pools, minors must be supervised at all times by an adult. The tenant exempts the agency and the property from any responsibility in this regard. The client agrees to vacate the apartment and return all keys before 10:00 am on the departure day. If the apartment is not vacated, the client will pay a daily fee of double the agreed daily rate, as well as any claims for damages that may be made by other persons with confirmed reservations.

The agency will not assume any responsibility in the following cases:
- Negligence or omission of services attributable to third parties (utility companies).
- Failures or incorrect functioning in communal pools, playgrounds, and sports facilities of any kind, with the use of these being strictly the responsibility of the user.
- Thefts in accommodations.
- Damages to persons or property caused by force majeure or unforeseen circumstances for which the agency cannot be held liable.
- Construction work not belonging to the property or public or private events.
Drought situation. The measures to manage episodes of regional water shortages agreed by the Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya) and/or other competent public administrations will be mandatory for both contracting parties. In compliance with the regulations, services may be affected that cannot be carried out normally. No such event will entail any type of compensation.
When booking accommodation, the above general conditions come into effect, governing the existing seasonal rental contract for accommodation.

These general conditions, together with the specified prices, are considered valid, except for typographical errors. These general conditions and the contract between you and the agency will be governed, interpreted, and executed under Spanish law, submitting to the courts of Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona), Spain, waiving the jurisdiction that might correspond to them due to their domicile.
